Herman Rebneris Student Carpentry Award

Herman Rebneris was a respected member of Victoria Residential Builders Association (VRBA) and a strong advocate of education and training, skilled trades and student participation in the residential construction industry.

VRBA will recognize the commitment to those learning the carpentry trade by awarding a deserving student with a $500 cheque to buy “the tools of the trade.”

Students may apply for the Herman Rebneris Student Carpentry Award by completing the form below. This award is open to students from Vancouver Island secondary schools with a Carpentry Program.

Criteria:

Registered within the past 12 months in a recognized Carpentry/Woodworking/Career Prep. Program.
Good record of academic achievement.
Each application must include teacher’s comments attached.
